The only way “not” to become your demons is to be conscious of them.  Who they are, how they developed, where they are from, what they like to do and not do, everything about them is relevant to your psycho/emotional health and well being.  People who are unable to enter into an in-depth relationship with their demons are usually lost, dazed and confused in one way or another.  So I suggest you procure an adept guide and pursue an internal investigation and relationship with all of those nasty but brilliant demons within your psyche and rather than become their darkness you will “imbue them” with heartwise love.  Then, all your dreams may come true.  Many Blessings Upon Your Shadow Dancing Experiences, GrandMother Singing Wolf.

Where are your Sacred Spirit Guides?  Are you conscious of their guidance and support?  Do you know them intimately?  If you have been excavating without your Sacred Spirit Guides as your conscious guidance system then you will run into difficulties.  It is always best to employ a GrandMother Shaman and Mystic facilitator to take the place of your Sacred Spirit Guides until you can engage in and master an intimate and integrative relationship with them.  (If you were a man I would counsel you to employ a GrandFather Shaman and Mystic facilitator.)
